Defend them...

Be strong. Live the gospel faithfully even if others around you don’t live it at all. Defend your beliefs with courtesy and with compassion, but defend them. - Jeffrey R. Holland

  1. Hi. I love that quote. Can you explain this "hashtag" stuff to me? I think I might have it, but i'm not really sure. ON my blog, I can put #Faith, Trials, #Family, etc? May print out what you you have as hashtags?

Sorry, I am rather old (69) and just beginning. I thought that only the youth were suppose to do this, not all of us. But now that I need to defend the brethren I want to be counted.

    1. You can think of hashtags as topic groupings or conversations. On social media it allows people to find all posts that any user has posted about that topic if they click the hashtag. For example this link will take you to all twitter posts people have tagged as being about General Conference (#LDSConf):

You blog may or may not support hashtags. For this blog, I have never tried to use hashtags because it has a similar feature called labels. While using the same hashtags across multiple sites (Facebook, Google+, etc) is a good idea, they only link posts within the same website.
